Ms. Hauptmann's practice concentrates on the defense of workers' compensation claims.  Ms. Hauptmann represents employers, insurers, and self-insureds before the Maryland Workers' Compensation Commission, Maryland circuit courts, and the District of Columbia Office of Workers' Compensation Programs, Administrative Hearing Division, Compensation Review Board, and D.C. appellate courts.

Ms. Hauptmann is a graduate of the University of Richmond and a 1997 graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law.  She is admitted to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia. 

Ms. Hauptmann assists Mr. Carlo in representing DavCo Restaurants, Inc., the Kennedy Krieger Institute, Tradesmen International, Royal Insurance Company, and Atlantic Mutual Insurance Company.
